Even though Bluffton Junior Varsity Tigers collected 12 hits to Norwell's eight, they still fell 10-4 on Tuesday. Grace Fry led Bluffton Junior Varsity Tigers with three hits. Bluffton Junior Varsity Tigers were the first to get on the board in the third when Josie Phillippe singled, scoring one run. Norwell flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the third, scoring five runs on three hits to take the lead, 5-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by C Comer on an 0-2 count that drove in two. K Morgan earned the win for Norwell. The pitcher gave up three hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out three and walking none. Phillippe took the loss for Bluffton Junior Varsity Tigers. The pitcher went six innings, surrendering 10 runs (six earned) on eight hits, striking out four and walking three. Comer started in the circle for Norwell. The starter allowed nine hits and four runs over four innings, striking out eight and walking one. Bluffton Junior Varsity Tigers tallied 12 hits in the game. Phillippe drove the middle of the lineup, leading Bluffton Junior Varsity Tigers with three runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. Addison Gehring, Kamryn Ault, and Sy'Annha Jordan-Turner each collected multiple hits for Bluffton Junior Varsity Tigers. Bluffton Junior Varsity Tigers turned one double play in the game. Morgan, L Pyle, and K Stockman each collected two hits for Norwell. Morgan, A Crow, Pyle, and Stockman each drove in one run for Norwell.
