Bluffton Junior Varsity Tigers had trouble keeping up with Woodlan in a 15-3 loss on Thursday. A double by L McHenry put Woodlan on the board in the top of the first. A fielder's choice by L Hodson extended the Woodlan lead to 3-0 in the top of the second inning. Woodlan added to their early lead in the top of the third inning when E Yagodinski doubled, scoring two runs, and one run scored on another play. N Miller earned the win for Woodlan. The hurler allowed five hits and three runs over three innings, striking out none and walking one. Kiah Craig took the loss for Bluffton Junior Varsity Tigers. The righty went six innings, allowing 15 runs (10 earned) on 15 hits, striking out six and walking one. Addison Gehring provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Bluffton Junior Varsity Tigers with two runs batted in. The infielder went 1-for-3 on the day. Gehring, Kamryn Ault, Craig, Grace Fry, and Sy'Annha Jordan-Turner each collected one hit for Bluffton Junior Varsity Tigers. Woodlan collected 15 hits in the game. McHenry drove the middle of the lineup, leading Woodlan with four runs batted in. The infielder went 4-for-5 on the day. K Jackemeyer, J Art, Hodson , and Yagodinski each collected multiple hits for Woodlan. Hodson stole two bases. Woodlan ran wild on the base paths, collecting four stolen bases for the game.
